Please help me...
Somehow my home page has been changed to some weird site and it won't let me change it back. Also, some quick search icons have been added to my desktop and additional toolbars have been added to my browser (explorer 6.0). I managed to delete the shortcuts on my desktop, but I can't change anything else. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get my browser back to normal and stop this from happening again.

Thanks.

Your browser has been hijacked by some site (porn?) you let download something. In IE - Tools - Internet Options you can try changing your default home page, but it gets changed. So do what one out of three responses to questions in this forum recommend. Download the SpyBot Search_&_Destroy tool to remove Spyware_etc you have picked up.

After Spybot removes that hijacker, you can prevent that from happening in the future by using another free program:Browser Hijack Blaster. You can find a download by going to wilders.org forum>official javacool software. There is a download link in the last category.I think it's called "other javacool software".Hope this helps.JB
