Comment: Hi, Has anyone heard of malware that would substitute the email address of the sender in outgoing emails with that of one randomly selected from Outlook or somewhere else on the user's computer? That is, email should be from Joe Blow <jblow@isp.com> but instead is from Joe Blow <someoneelse@anotherisp.com> and of course when someone hits reply it goes to someoneelse. Thanks, Peter

Reply: (edit)There are probably fifty different virii, trojans and spoofers that do this. Run a good virus scan to start with. Larry Sometimes I think I understand everything, then I regain consciousness

Reply: (edit)I don't think you read my post carefully. This is not a typical trojan that sends out spam using a spoofed email address it picked up from an address book. It is not spam being mailed out. Valid emails are going out with the wrong return address. If you know of any trojan/virus that does this please post its name. Peter
