CD-Rom tray opens automatically

When I click on Internet Explorer, my CD-Rom tray slides out by itself,any ideas on how I can stop this from happening, it only does it clicking on IE. Thanks

Do you run an anti-virus program? If not I suggest AVG Free
It detected something very similar on my comp a long time ago. Turned out to be a prank that someone sent to me but it was recognised as a possible problem.

There's a hijacker that causes this too. Has your homepage been changed? Are you getting pop up ads for Spy Wiper?
Running AdAware and/or Spybot Search & Destroy is a good idea too.

Hello, I remember to have read here, it was the result of a trojan horse infecting a computer, but I don't remember the name of this betrayal. Anyway I suggest you download and try <Trojan Remover 6.15> this program is dedicated to computers users without any particular knowledge in trojan's horses, freeware for one month, but fully updated. Read well the "readme" file in order to use correctely the two scans embaded in the program: one for the memory, the scond one to track and neutralize the worm hidden in the hard drive. Good luck
