I have seen posts all around about this particular item that ends up opening an internet explorer browser and directing the page to www.casinopalazzo.com. It sometimes kicks me off the internet for any other purposes. It also clearly hijacks the homepage of my browser to one of the many search sites that are out there. I also end up getting a Sexdial icon on the desktop.
If anyone has any specific ideas on how I can get rid of this I would greatly appreciated it.

If you haven't already, download Spybot Search & Destroy at http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download , and Adaware at http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
. Be sure to read the Adaware tutorial to configure it to do a full scan at http://www.lavahelp.com/howto/fullscan/index.html . Before scanning them, update them both. Let them get rid of everything that they find when scanning.
Also, download SpywareBlaster to stop junk like that from coming into your computer at http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Do you have Spybot and Adaware installed? Have you made sure they are updated, and have you ran them while in the safe mode?

Yes I have both those programs and they are updated. But for some weird reason I can't get into safe mode. Whenever I get into the boot selection menu, the safe mode selection isn't present. What should I do?

I've been researching a bit on casino palazzo, and one person who had gotten infected by it said that his problem with it stopped once he had ended two files that were running processes, and deleted them from his computer. The files were runwin32.exe and wininet32.exe. Do you have these files running, or at least on your computer? If so, delete them.

I've tried everything suggested in here so far and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me out?

I have the same problem,
I have:
Ad-aware updated
Spybots updated
AVG Updatedplus I had the 2 running files mention earlier by Laura2004 (runwin32.exe and wininet32.exe)
The only I've found to destroy them is by using control panel, process, shutdown. (maybe not the exact word) I'm in win xp french.I'm out of options, please give me a procedure to follow! ):
