Can't use regedit, been hijacked

I've just been hijacked. I used spybots to remove whatever it could've caused, but I still can't change my home page and I can't use regedit anymore because "Registry Editing has been disabled by your administrator", which is of course totally false. Can anyone help?

Try creating a new admin account. Then regedit.

Eliminates a corrupt profile. Post back.

Reboot into Safe Mode and make your changes needed.

Heist, For the Home Page problem go to the link below and follow the instructions.

I can't access my IE settings any more

That may also correct the reg edit problem. If it doesn't go to the link below and download & run the "Fixswen.inf" file.

"Save the fixswen.inf file to your local hard disk, right-click on the file and choose install".

"A Setup INF file to undo registry changes made by W32/Swen@MM and other threats that prevent REGEDIT, BAT, COM, EXE, PIF, REG and SCR files from running".
