Can't uninstall ZoneAlarm

Hi,
When I try and install ZoneAlarm it displays an error message saying that TrueVector process is running but when I look in the processes tab it isn't there and I have deleted the registry key for it and all other relevant registry keys and all files found from search for ZoneAlarm, and there doesn't appear to be any ZoneAlarm procesess running at startup.

Start up in safe mode and try uninstalling again.

Thanks for your reply. I had to delete the files manually and the registry keys because I couldn't access the folder to get to uninstall.exe (access denied error) so I deleted everything in safe mode.
Any ideas anyone?

... try unticking "load zone alarm@ startup"
... when the pc has finished booting-up initiate zone alarm.
