OK I've tried EVERYTHING reinstalls, updates, virus scans, adware software, regrepairs, updates on OS you name it! Still something is really wrong and it seems like the problem files should be easy to Identify. Now when I open Add/Remove Programs from the control panel the list is empty and the CLOSE button (which doesn't work) is spelled C$lose? that along with a millon other little things. I have a port listener running but not sure what I'm looking for? anyone? also my IP address doesn't come up correctly all the time when I try to post on this board
