Comment:

I have spyware and trojans that I cannot get off my computer! I used Mircosoft Antispy ware but it doesn't work. Everytime I run and scan I get the following spyware:

Trojan.winsync
SurfSideKick
NewDotNet

No matter how many times I try Antispyare and delete them, they come right back after I reboot. Spybot doesn't work either!

1. Turn off System Restore and reboot into Safe Mode
2. Run your anti spy/mal/adware programs in Safe Mode
3. Reboot and turn System Restore back on

Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed.

Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum.

Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.

I've been trying to get rid of a trojan.zlob i got somehow. i tried to delete it manually to no avail, i've also tried using pskill and smitrem, both at other site's suggestions. i really dont know much about all this, but i've run hijack this, so i'm hoping someone can help me (walk me through) what/how i need to do to fix it.

at this point, my antispyware program (microsoft) just recognizes it, but i have "control" over my explorer homepage again and all that stuff, it's just still on my computer, which i'm sure isn't a good thing.

thanks!
Michael

Micheal H, Please start a new thread and just state that you are having a problem with trojan.zlob. Please do not post any logs as it is against forum rules to do so until you are ask.

We should be able to help you but communicating through another posters post would make it difficult to know when you have posted a follow-up.
