Message: I downloaded a avg firewall trial version a while back. I uninstalled it a few months ago but it didn't uninstall properly. Windows defender tells me the AVG firewall is on. I disabled the avg entries in services (I can't delet them) There is an avg folder in program files. I can't delete it; access is denied. The avg software doesn't appear in add/remove programs nor in start. There is also Belkin USB to fast ethernet adapter - avg miniport driver, Microsot tv/video connection - avg miniport driver, WAN miniport (IP)- avg miniport driver. Although I turned off windows defender firewall. I keep having problems with Internet connections. Networks diagnostic often mentions conflicting firewalls. As far as I don't have any other firewall on. I use Avast as anti virus and Spybot search and destroy against malware and easy cleaner for the registry. I also found lavasoft icons in the registry (from ad-aware which i uninstalled a long time. Would it be safe to delete it from the registry?
