Hi there,
Yesterday a friend of mine asked me to look at his computer as it wasn't doing what he wants.
We used Avast to scan his computer and he has something called: Win32: Trojan-gen
Now I read on the internet to download hijack and stuff and post the outcome on a forum so people can help. Well I would do hat, if his internet connection would work!
Other solution? Format the computer and reïnstall windows XP. But ofcourse they have a lot of pictures in 'my documents' that need to be saved, they want to keep them. No problem, copy and paste to an other drive right? Not right, I don't know what's going on, but I can't copy and paste!!
So...HELP!!! Please?? Anyone got ideas to at least safe the pictures??

To attempt to repair internet connectivity try using "WinSockFix" repair tool at this link http://www.subratam.org/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=41 or if that does not work try "LSP Fix".
WinSockFix can be downloaded and run on a floppy if you need to.
