Can't log in Windows

CPU/Ram: Pentium 4
Product: Dell / 4500 dimension

Win XP log me in and kicks me out right away, I copy the userinit.exe wsupdater.exe reset the computer and now I have another error spoolsv.exe and the computer stays on the desktop without any icons or anything, it won't ley me in now. What should I do? I do not want to loose my files.

Thank you for the reply, I did run the windows repair but I still unable to get into windows.
