Well, I know I have the same virus as this person referred to in this post: http://www.computing.net/answers/se... But when I try to install Malwarebytes, I can't. This is what happens: -First of all, I can't download Malwarebytes from either of the links because apparently the trojan is smart and won't let me connect to any links with antivirus. -So I tried emailing the installation file to myself and downloading it through the attachment, and that went fine. -Then, I tried double-clicking it in Windows Explorer, And the 'Run' box comes up, but when I click 'Run', it won't go any further, nothing happens. -I went to task manager, and it said that the installation was running in the Processes tab, but nothing is happening. The same thing happens with HijackThis, but other things I've tried seem to be installing fine. I've tried rebooting and also installing in Safe Mode and still the same thing happens. I tried getting the installation file from a USB, and the same thing happens. I also tried installing SUPERantispyware, and when I double-click on the installation file and hit 'Run', the 'This program has encountered and error and needs to end' message will pop up. Anyone know what's wrong?
