Subject: can't install AVG
OS: xp pro
CPU/Ram: Athlon 3000/ 512mb
Comment:
i'm trying to install AVG free but keep getting this message

The system DLL user 32.dll was relocoted in the memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll ocupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

then when i try to start it up it says it may not be installed properly & may not work

any help is always appreciated

thanx

Have you got any other AV product running on there?

Dunno then, maybe someone else will have some ideas.

As a cop out you could try Avast instead of AVG, which gets better reviews currently anyhow and is still free with registration.
