can't install AVG

i'm trying to install AVG free but keep getting this message
The system DLL user 32.dll was relocoted in the memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll ocupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
then when i try to start it up it says it may not be installed properly & may not work
