I run avg, ad-aware, spybot and they all found lots of infected or bad files and they delete them but then i still have many trojans pop ups from avg saying to run it just after i have run it. i cant get rid of this. please help someone.

download STINGER.
that should fix a few viruses.
if not go onto google and type; housecall
an online virus scan should help as well.
best wishes

This very helpful.

First install a firewall, go here and get Sygate...

http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm

If you have Win ME or XP turn of system restore. Reboot your computer and then run AVG again.

Run Ad-Aware / Spybot again, get rid of what it finds.

Go here and download the free version of Swattit, update it and then run it.

When you are clean of viruses trojans and other crap, turn System Restore back on.

If that lot fails and you still have problems Format C:

Iligitimi non carborundum est

Can Get Rid Of Trojans:

Let's admit it, there is some stubborn adware out there, and no matter how much you tell it to go away, it always seems to appear right back.

Grab out a paper and pen:

1. Run your program(s) that you use to find the malicious spyware, trojans, and viruses.

2. Write down the names of the found malicious spyware, trojans, and viruses.

3. Restart your computer in Safe Mode thus it will allow you to delete these malicious spywares, trojans, and viruses once and for all.

4. In safe mode, Go To: Start > Search. And search for the names you wrote down in step two and delete them.

5. Empty the recycle bin and restart your computer, let it start the normal way.

6. Run your programs to see if the malicious spyware, trojans, and viruses are all gone.

Good Luck,
Jeremy
