Can't get into Safe Mode with command prompt

June 7, 2011 at 17:38:50
Specs: Windows 7
Have a Dell netbook and need to get to command prompt to reset password. My password worked yesterday but not today. I am using F8 and it gives me the choice of Safe Mode with Command Prompt but when I choose it the netbook goes straight into Windows 7 and I can't log in.

What can I do?
