McAfee tells me the file C:\windows\system\pdgpvio.exe is infected with w32/acebot.worm but I can't delete it, because the file is in use by Windows. Any help, please? Paul

Some trojans or worms may NOT be safe to DELETE conventionally. Before doing so, I'd read up at www.symantec.com web site and search www.google.com for the worm name. The deletion action itself can cause other unexpected results. Just be secure beforehand. And If I had an infected PC, I'd immediately make very certain I had every single file (data, music, programs, etc) BACKED UP presently.
