Cant copy files - trojans suspected

I have NOD32 as an anti virus and outpost as firewall. Both updated. Yet I somehow got a virus, or I think more - trojan(s). The system isn't slow, it's just that I cannot copy anything from my main hard drive to the external HD.
What do you guys recommend? I have important files which I cannot lose!
The error message I get: "Cannot copy xxxxx: The path is too deep", while the file name is only 5 words long. Even if I change the name to "234" for example, it would still give the same error.
