When removing the "www", many pages do come up, but many don't work at all because prefixes like "www" and "secure" are embedded in page links, such as their Retirement Estimator (http://socialsecurity.gov/estimator/). To actually run the estimator it goes to the link http://www.socialsecurity.gov/begin... (with the "www"), so fails. Removing the "www" and reloading the page fails as well.
This site so far for me is just a lot of rubbish. There should be no reason at all such a site is made (consciously or not) technically inaccessible for Americans overseas.
