Can't access yahoo mail and hotmail

I received my computer back from warranty (the main switch was out of order) and I can't open either my yahoo mail, nor my hotmail account. Same alert message, refusing to login. Same problem with either Firefox or IE, but with another computer same provider, no problem to access the accounts... Who knows what to do?

Sounds like a firewall issue. Try booting into safemode w/networking and see if you can log on that way. What are you running for a firewall?

Are you using a router ? if the MTU settings are incorrect that could be the issue.
However my first point of call would be to download windows live messenger and it will actually point you in the direction of the fault and most the time actually repair it. It could be something simple such as your offline settings :P
