Good Morning,
I'm at my wits end, and if "Format c:" wasn't such a pain I'd wipe it, but that's a last ditch solution.I made amistake and clicked on what I thought was a new driver for a video I wanted to see, and before I could stop it I was infected.
The virus runs in task manager under the label iexplore.exe (System) This runs even if I don't have Internet Explorer on. I hear clicks like I am opening Explorer. Occoaisionally I get a music banner that just starts playing in the background. Ads pop up, even when Explorer is not running. Yo avoid being a pain here, I followed the instructions you posted for other and ran Malewarebytes. It found 3 trojans and eliminated them, but the iexplore.exe remains in my task manager, and the ads keep coming. I have downloaded and run many other
spyware programs. AVG does not recognize it, nor does spy-bot. It also deleted no-adware from my computer.Any help would surely be appreciated, as I'm at my wits end. This process bogs down my computer terribly.
Thank you in advance.
John

Aren't you running an anti-virus program?
Boot to Safe Mode with Networking, download malwarebytes from here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and run it.
