I read a previous post about this same problem, however, since my problem manifests itself a little differently I was wondering if you could help me with mine. I use Firefox. In the past 24 hours when I run Firefox I get a pop-up page from MyWebSearch with ads for working at home and junk like that. I have Sophos Anti-Virus. I scanned my computer and it found 1 threat labelled MyWebSearch located in C:\System Volume Information. I clicked clean-up and the program told me to restart the computer to finish clean-up. I did this twice and still MyWebSearch was there. I tried to manually remove it but it does not show up under Add/Remove Programs and the computer won't give me access to C:\System Volume Information. What should I do? Thank you so much.
