Hi,

It just happens that today, I can't seem to open mi IE when I click on the icon on the desktop or anywhere. THey only time i could reach my browser is when i log on to my MSN messenger and check email and then using that browser go to another site. Everytime i click on the usual IE icon, this appears: "cannot find 'file :///c./spad/start.html'. make sure internet path or internet address is correct." I might have a virus, or could it be because I erased my quarantine archive from my Ad-Aware6.0 (is that bad?) and erased something really important? I have Process explorer, Spybot Search&Destroy, and WinAntivirus 2004. This thing also pops up everytime i log on to my windows: "RUNDLL

Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\Bridge.dll

The specified module could not be found"

Any help is appreciated. YOu guys have been really helpful to us poor lost souls.

Thanks,
Francis

Hi Frank,

You have a toolbar hijacker that cannot be fixed with the usual programs recommended here. My suggestion is to download HiJack This, d/load it to its own folder. Then go here:

http://www.computercops.biz/

Register in, and go to the HiJack This log forum; run HT on your computer, and save the log, then post it. A tech will be along shortly to help you.

Sometimes you will not be able to access ComputerCops; they are under DOS attack by spyware barfbags and sometimes you can't get through. Just keep trying, it opens up after a while.

HiJack This logs are not allow on this forum because of the large amounts of space they take up.

THanks Ranchhand..i'll try that now. I actually have Hijack this, but yeah, i guess they can't take it here. Hopefully, they'll be good over at computercops. Thanks again.
