I have Windows XP and there are a couple files on my desktop I cannot move to another folder by cut, copy, paste, delete, drag nothing at all. I was wondering if I could get some help on removing them. One is mpg the other is jpg. Thanks.

Thank you for your replies, d/led both of those, but they didn't work. I forgot to mention that if I right click the files an option to "Copy" "Cut" "Delete" doesnt show up.

Download Reatogo Builder, BartPE or a Live Linux CD distro, burn to CD, boot to it, go into any file manager provided and delete the file. Reboot.

yes log in from safe mode by pressing F8 on boot and select safe mode. You most likely have a virus. Do you have current anti-virus software and is it up to date? If not there are free versions on my site under the downloads tab
