Cannot get rid of blaster worm

I am not able to get rid of the blaster worm, i downloaded all the patches, downloaded all the viruse removal kits for that virus and i still have no luck, does this virus only work with dial up or also dsl

Did you turn off "system restore", and restart the computer and then do a scan with your antivirus program to make sure the system is clean before turning "system restore" back on? Did you enable XP's firewall, or install a firewall like Sygate/Kerio/Zone Alarm?

It may simply be in your system restore. Where exactly is it being reported? -in what folder on the hard drive precisely?

Make sure that you have your network cable unplugged or are not connected to the net by dialup. If you are connected when you try to remove it, it will reinfect your computer no matter how many times you remove it.
