cannot delete/repair trojan horse

nortan antivirus detected a trojan virus wile on a website. It created a file called gd1mY.dll into my system32. Everytime i connect to a website the message pops up saying it cannot repair or remove gd1mY.dll in system32. i turned off system restore, restarted in safe mode and scan for viruses. After it found the file it says cannot delete or repair the file, the virus still remains. symantec said it was a downloader.trojan trojan horse and i did exactly what it told me to do. Im at school right now so i dont know exactly the name. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
