When I connect through msn (dial up), the connection is made but I can't access any websites. It says "no connection". I'd guess that it's a virus but I can't get to any websites to download anything to clean it up. What should I do? Please help!

Disable your firewall and see it that makes any difference.

Sounds like some software thats installed is interfering with your web browsing. Can you view web pages in safemode w/networking ?
Murr is probably correct on the antivirus direction. If everything was fine a few days ago just do a system restore.
What antivirus are you using?

Hi,
It is not a spyware/adware, probably not. It is a network problem. Check your network settings, when I have those sort of problems I contact my ISP provider.

I have the same problem with DSL/Verizon. Can not browsw with IE or Netscape but I can PING certain sites like Yahoo but not MSN.
It doesn't work in SafeMode w/networking. Diabled Firewall and even deleted, no help. Uninstalled and installed network card, no help.
