Subject: Cannot access web sitesOS: Win XPCPU/Ram: pentium 233Model/Manufacturer: Dell |
Comment: When I connect through msn (dial up), the connection is made but I can't access any websites. It says "no connection". I'd guess that it's a virus but I can't get to any websites to download anything to clean it up. What should I do? Please help!

Reply: (edit)Sounds like some software thats installed is interfering with your web browsing. Can you view web pages in safemode w/networking ? Murr is probably correct on the antivirus direction. If everything was fine a few days ago just do a system restore. What antivirus are you using? Reply: (edit)Hi, It is not a spyware/adware, probably not. It is a network problem. Check your network settings, when I have those sort of problems I contact my ISP provider. Karl
