Specs: Windows XP
So, I' ve been using AVG and I don't like it that much. BitDefender- It looks like it does nothing. Avira-don't like it. I'm considering of buying Norton. Can you suggest me another antivirus? That is amazing at updating, gives full internet security, etc etc?
It doesn't matter if it's free or not, just I want it to protect my computer and my online safety.

Avast is one of the best free AV programs available and highly recommended. Most paid AV programs offer free trials so you can test them for free and see if you like them, before you buy?
Microsoft Security Essentials is good but uses a lot of your pc's resources.

Getting a free antivirus is better than paid. For example if you use AVG Free and you want anti-rootkit which AVG Free don't provide, you can use google search for free rootkit protection. When you search for a software which only know how to do rootkit protection, there is a higher chance that the product will be much better than AVG paid products. But be careful when you use Google search as some of them may be fake software and may turn up to be viruses.

So lets come to the real thing, you should not buy paid antivirus. Avast! Free is the best antivirus. It have the minimum protection that other company paid antivirus already have. avast! Free only have AutoSandBox right. So if you want a better sandbox, use SafeSpace Free Edition. Looking for a good Firewall? Use ZoneAlarm Free. Among all the firewall, Windows Firewall is the worse one.

The worse antivirus is NOT Norton. It's AVG. I've experience with AVG. It has the worse virus definition and make so much mistake that it even delete my confidental documents.

I understand that the topic is only about suggesting a good antivirus, but I am giving more since you are requesting for complete internet security and more.
