You could start by downloading http://www.atribune.org/content/vie... and http://www.superantispyware.com/dow...
Install Super Anti-Spyware, and update then boot to safe mode and run the ATF Cleaner then the Super Anti-Spyware Program

Boot to Safe mode Method:
Restart your computer. When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a menu. When you have the menu on the screen. Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys. Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode.
when you are done reboot to boot back into normal mode

Hi Tweaks,
I found a doownload on the AVG site that claims it removes over 700 viruses, including the above, turned off system restore, shut down and booted to safe mode, ran the 'vcleaner'and avg still lists the virus on reboot?

The superantispyware has not been up-dated since 2005, am still looking at the other but have not yet downloaded.

Thanks for the tips.

You're supposed to do it manually. Did you?

Sorry I over looked that,
Disable system restore(right click my comp./properties/system restore tab/then put a check in the box for disable system restore
then boot to safe mode and run your virus scan and the anti-spyware program

If a virus, worm, or Trojan infects a computer, System Restore may back up the virus, worm, or Trojan on the computer
