Sorry for the abbreviated subject heading there, i tried to squeeze it all in...anyways, my homepage is hijacked to res://olqel.dll/index.html#96676 (pop ups, alternate search page pops, etc) and since ive had this happen to me once before and i'm a internet computing major, i figure i should try and learn how to fix it. I was on here last time and received wonderful help which i will basically follow this time around, but since i dont want to mess up my comp, im going to post my hijack this log on request so i know not to delete anything important, etc. Basically i plan to run adaware, spybot, and avg, then go into safe mode and delete the files manually since its a c:\windows olqell.dll file, which is hidden, that came up in my hijack this log and then change my internet homepage through internet options from the control panel. It would be appreciated if someone could tell me if im right or on the right track, i just do not want to mess anything up by trying to learn how to do things such as this. Any help would be greatly appreciated and i will post the hijack this log when im told to.
Also, i posted a message a few days ago regarding a iemi.exe windows error msg that pops up when i turn my computer on and windows boots up. Ive downloaded a nokia ring tone since thats the only thing in relation that came up on google when i searched for this error, but i didnt download it on this comptuer so i have no idea what kind of error this is or how it came to be...any help?

You are onto a good start. The key to HJT logs is to understand what each entry is and what to do with them. You also must know what a BHO is, by a google search and also, before you delete anything make certain it is what you think it is too.
If you use SPYBOT, use the function whereby you BLOCK your START PAGE from being changed. It is found in the IMMUNIZE page, at the bottom, called LOCK IE START PAGE...The links below are good info on how to read HT logs:

As for, iemi.exe, if it is in fact from the ring-tone download, I'd UNINSTALL it and then reboot your PC, thus verifying it was the culprit and then maybe try another install, but likely, it will reappear, so there may be another problem.

I saw this link:
from another computing.net post...it can help analyze but you also have to know what programs you have because some of the things that it finds are not really bad...Here are some forum links that you can post your HJT logs in...they have experts on the HiJack This Logs
