I am running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 600m. After running a Boot time scan, with Avast, I discovered that my C drive has been corrupted. Avast is unable to remove or repair the problem. How do I remove these virus in My C Drive? Thanks in advance. Curious George

Is avast! giving you a name of a virus? If so, can you post the info?Is your computer still booting to Windows XP?
