Primary Problem: Using google search engine, it will search correctly and offer reasonable results, but 9 times out of 10 when you click on a link it will redirect to a variety of sites, some porn, some directory sites, some sites which say the site I am linking to does not exist. Secondary Problem (may be linked): Am able to download set up files for AVG and other antivirals but am not able to run the set up files (ie I cannot put an antivirus program onto the PC). This also happened when I tried to set up google chrome. The only cleaning product I have been able to set up properly is 'Crap-Cleaner'. Web Browser = Firefox version 3 Can anybody help?!?

The problem with the set up files appears to be when they are trying to report back to the net to download the remainder of their files. The following is the error reporting from my trying to install the 'Avast' suite.
