Whenever I start up Internet Explorer, on the first attempt to access the web, whether via the address bar or the search button, my system gets a 20 second delay while it trys to access ip 209.92.33.170. This ip address also sometimes passes control to ip 216.65.101.250. Previously, I had the search hijack which redirected all search requests through these links. I removed all registry entries which included these ip addresses, and removed all erroneous entries from the Hosts file. But, this one final glitch still hobbles my use of Internet Explorer. Can anyone tell me what should still be removed to get rid of this? I have tried AdAware, SpyBot, CWShredder and Bazooka but nothing helps. Any help would be appreciated.
