Specs: Windows XP
Ever since January, There have been some pesky viruses that I got rid of pretty easily, but I still get emails from Comcast saying that I have a bot on my computer. I've been trying to get rid of it often, but It just won't go away. I scan with Malwarebytes every single day and I admit that there are infected things that I delete. BUT the infected things never stop. every day there is one. and it is never the bot. So what do I do?

What is in msconfig.exe that is auto starting?
Try a noisy firewall. One that barks at you every time an application trys to connect to the internet. Keep a copy of the log files or list those apps and port requests.
The log file in the router may give a clue as to port used. Find who is using that port and narrow the search.
Re-applying the last service pack has helped a few in the past. Might give that a go if nothing else works.
