Bloodhound/trojan virus in Temp Fil

April 6, 2009 at 16:49:36
Specs: Windows Vista
I have been recieveing notifications for a while saying that I have bloodhound exploit and trojan viruses in my temp file. I have tried to quarantine and delete them as well as run many different virus scans but nothin seems to work. The file has grown significantly and is now taking up a good 20G chunk of my disk space. I ran the HijackThis v2.02 scan and recieved the log, however I am not sure which results to go after. I am running windows Vista ad the log looks like this:

Boot into Safe Mode. Go to run. Type %tmp%. Delete all the files you can find. Now go to Disk Cleanup. Clean all files you think needs to be deleted.

Now, boot into network mode and go to Download the trial and update to the newest update. Do a FULL SYSTEM scan in Safe Mode. Clean any files you can find. If more problems exist, go to Download trial. Do scan and reboot. Now see if its gone.

If Safe Mode is disabled, you might have to format.
