Norton Internet Security found a "bloodhound.sonar.1" virus and supposedly "resolved" the issue. I just needed to reboot. I did, but it keeps coming back. Norton keeps finding it. I am also hearing random audio clips that sound like advertising, but they only last for a few seconds and then stop. They seem to start and stop in the middle of a clip. I have no idea where they are coming from. I have found some information on a few sites, but nothing that seems to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for any help. Nathan

you may have to turn off system restore and then scan and remove the problem.
Norton is not on my list of favorites.you could also try avast free, load it to your desktop, install it and let it do a bootscan on reboot. You will be surprised at what Norton has missed.
Then after it's done scanning, make sure you disable it from startup and you can continue using Norton. You CANNOT use 2 AV's at the same time. It will slow you to a crawl.
If your problem still persists, do this free active x scan:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.phpand remove all it finds.
Don't forget to turn system restore back on once you've removed the problem.Let us know how you make out
