I recently got a notification from Norton Antivirus that it found a virus called Bloodhound.Exploit.109 in my temporary internet files (Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\UF0LCFQL\movie[1].qtl) but couldn't clean or quarantine it. I've already ran Spybot and Ad-Aware, but they haven't gotten rid of it (actually, they didn't even find that file). I tried to delete the UF0LCFQL folder, but Windows won't let me because "movie[1].qtl is being used by another program or person".

I also used housecall.trendmicro.com and it found the TROJ_PURITYSC.BI virus.

I then used HijackThis and got a log, but http://hijackthis.de/index.php?lang... didn't find any programs that I didn't know about.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Have you tried emptying the TIFs via Internet Options?

Safe Mode may also allow removal of 'in use' files - - as well, there are various file 'unlockers' (moveonboot & unlocker, to name 2)

Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real.

Yes, but that doesn't delete everything.

Thanks, I thought about that, but I found a method for deleting problem files that I want to try first.

Okay, I just deleted the UF0LCFQL folder using the method from pchell.com.

Does anyone know if the unimt.exe file in Windows\system32 is supposed to be there, or if it's something created by a virus or spyware?

How do I access my temporary internet files on my cmd screen? IT tells me that the path cannot be found.

Are you sure you got the address right? Did you change the directory (if you didn't type the full address)?

to change the directory, type:

cd [and then the full address]

like this:

cd C:\Documents and Settings\John\Temporary Internet Files
