An email was sent to a cell phone from the office computer.(it was not harrassing or harmful at all) is it possible to keep it from being traced back to the computer after its been sent?

No. All electronic messages (e-mail, IM, etc) contains IETF header that instruct its destination. The header includes point of origination (YOUR e-mail address & the domain, time, etcetra)

the email address was a yahoo and has been deleted but we sent it from work and if they do a trace they can find which computer it came from?
