I have tried everything to get thru to mcafee website to reinstall the security suite. I even downloaded a copy of the reinstall software to my home pc and burned it to a cd to run in my laptop, but no luck. It gets to a certain point and freezes. Microsoft support tried to fix my internet explorer, but i only had trouble accessing mcafee, and now I think they made the issue worse. I updated for IE7 from microsoft, so hopefully that will help the internet run better now. It kept shutting down with error messages after microsoft support got done with me. I can't do a system restore either. Unable to download mcafee thru the comcast website. Don't know what else to do. All scans are coming up clean - microsoft one live, maleware bytes, mcafee stinger tools. What to do next? Do I pay mcafee to do a virus scan and repair?
