Hi there. I need some urgent help. At the moment, i am running the trend micro housecall virus scan. It found the file "TROJ BLAZEFIND.A". I have heard that when running adaware, deleting a program called blazefind will cause u not to log into your computer. Does this mean i cannot delete this troj? What should i do? Thanks

Well, first thing first, take a deep breath and relax, and then disable your system restore:
Disabling system restore in Win Xp
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001012513122239?Open&src=sec_doc_nam&docid=2001111912274039&nsf=tsgeninfo.nsf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvlThen run these and your AV in Safe Mode:
SWATIT:
http://swatit.org/download.html
Trojan Hunter trial version:
http://www.misec.net/
If it gives you a file name, like Downloader.Buttpain.exe, look for it in 'search files and folders' and try to delete it there.
If you have UPDATED SpyBot and Adaware, run them also in safe mode, if not, update them.... They update about every 3 days, and you should run them that often.
Are you running a firewall, if so, it's time to rethink your settings, or get one outside of the Xp program. I use Sygate, free, simple, effective:
http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm
You should consider a general clean-out: TIF, cookies, %TEMP%, recycle bin, Disk Clean-up, Scan Disk, Defrag....after this bug is out.
Try the simple things first, let us know what happened.

Read this and STAY AWAY from the adverts on the right side of the page.

It sounds like SpyBot and/or Adaware will knock it out.
