Black Screen on startup

Hey, this morning I hopped onto my computer to check my email, saw an HP update notification come on and clicked it. I barely read the thing and clicked okay. I believe is was a BIOS update. As I continued to check my email while it was running, it hit 100%, and my computer froze. I tried doing everything to unfreeze it, and ended up just shutting the whole thing off (Holding the power button). Now whenever I start it, nothing comes on screen. I believe it POSTs, because I hear the single beep like it normally does, but still nothing comes on screen. On top of that, I tried logging into that computer (after giving it a few minutes to start), through Teamviewer, but it was recognized as offline, so obviously windows does not even start. Any ideas or help?

Oh, sorry. Those were saved from a previous post I made a few months ago. And tapping f8 or f10 doesnt do anything. And no, no flashing cursor shows up on screen, nothing shows up on screen.
