This has probably been done a million times, but here it goes...

Recently, I've come to the realization that many people have come to that Norton are practically PC suicide, particularly 2003 and 2004 products.

So, that being said, I was hoping that someone here could reccomend me a good scanner. I was thing of AVG, but I'd like some opinions.

Thanks.

AVG free edition with Zonalarm free , been running for almost 2 years now and never had a virus or any other problem with these products, uses very little resources . AVg seems to keep it updated 2-3 times a week also so they keep it current .

I have not had any problems with Norton AV 2004, or any other NAV versions.
