Hi, I am having problems with spyware on my computer, When on the net i keep getting these same pop-ups every 30 secs which is driving me mad as i cannont block them. I am on Aol and have pop-up blocker but these pop-ups cannot be blocked using AOL. i am getting Pop-ups for WINAntiSpyware2005- run pc check now, and another pop-up which fails to load, Http://Promo.Ktvad1.com which pops up every 60 secs but cannot find server, also getting pop-ups for casino,s and betting sites which open on web pages and cannot be closed and move with the page when scrolling down so therefore you cannot see the webpage you are looking at properly.

Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed.

Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum.

Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.

Didn't find what I was looking for. Run Ht again, close all browsers and windows except HT, then place a check t othe left of these items and press "fix checked".

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://ie.redirect.hp.com/svs/rdr?TYPE=3&tp=iehome&locale=EN_GB&c=Q305&bd=presario&pf=desktop

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://ie.redirect.hp.com/svs/rdr?TYPE=3&tp=iehome&locale=EN_GB&c=Q305&bd=presario&pf=desktop

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE

You already have ewido, but set it up this way Ewido Setup Instructions reboot into Safe Mode and run Ewido

When the scan has completed, Ewido will create a report.txt file. Click the "Save Report" button on the bottom of the screen and save the log to your desktop in case you need it later.

Please reboot into normal mode and post the ewido log and blicklight log once you finish running them.

Then download black light from this link and run it http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/The log should be on your desktop or root directory (C:\). This is the format for the log file name:
fsbl-<date-and-time>.log

If you have any trouble finding it do a search for fsbl*.log.
