Reply: (edit)The free AVG anti-virus works well for me, and the free Zone Alarm firewall also works well... I use a somewhat older version of Zone Alarm though, because I saw some remarks about their latest version being somewhat buggy...

Reply: (edit)murr, that's quite comical offering an aol product LOL H898, I would suggest Comodo free firewall and Avast free for the AV. They work great together and should keep you pretty safe, providing you keep all your critical up-dates up and of course are also using Spyware Blaster Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Reply: (edit)the reason I said that about AOL, (who knows, that product might be ok), is that they soaked people through the nose with their ISP for years and after losing a lot of clients in the past while, I'm thinking this security center will be like dangling another carrot in front of the horse...LOL, as you noticed, you DO need an aol sign in name to D/L the software. Hmmmm....very interesting! Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Reply: (edit)To get the best free internet security suite you will need to add your parts. Comodo firewall+AntiVir PE Classic antivirus is a good start. Spyware Blaster and AVG Antispyware+A-Squared free scanners would be excellent. I would avoid the free Comodo antivirus as it is weaker in detection than AVG. JB
