Hey all:
I have some questions to ask on behalf of a friend. He's running '98, and has lots of problems with viruses. His dad says that getting a antivirus software will cause conflicts. I say that's not so.
So basically, what we're looking to learn is:
What's the best antivirus software for '98, and does it cause conflicts?

F-Prot for DOS won't conflict with anything since it is not a real-time scanner (i.e. it only runs when you manually run it.) I find it especially handy to have as a backup since it does not require any installation and does not have to have Windows running in the background.
Summary: Either Nod 32, TDS - 3 or Kaspersky if you want the very best antivirus software. Norton, quite frankly, is pathetic in comparison with any of those three. Firewalls, pretty much any will suffice, tho...
