Ok, I had a major problem. I had a browser hijacker. Every time I clicked internet explorer it said. "You are infected with MYDOOM, Click here to get rid of it." Then i had at leaste 3 trojan.droppers/Horses. Then the only way to get to my computer was through remote control. I then installed Panda Anti virus. This softeware got rid of all the problems. THis software you can use for 30 days then need to purchase it. It is at www.pandasoftware.com. Best Anti virus I've ever used. I strongly reccomend buying it.

Never used any of the av's mentioned above but I'm sure they're good. I'm using Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro and I'm more than just satisfied with the product, it's a godsend.

If you've got KAV, I doubt you'd need NOD32.

Let me add to all the above, 98% of virii threads that I see on here are from folks that have a reputable AV tool installed on their system at the time of infection implying that prevention is the only cure for malicious codes.

You can install the best AV, but without the latest definition files, you can still find yourself sh!t up the creek without a paddle.

Panda Platinum Internet Security 2005 is very good, and very easy to use. But it is pretty expensive. I now use NIS 2005, which came with my pc when i brought it.
