Comment: Hello. My mother somehow got the Bagle.bq virus. What does it do, and how do I delete this? Google came up with nothing of value. Also, our EZ firewall pops up on startup asking what to do with New IP Address 225.225.254.0/69.161.18.0. What is this? And how do I deal with it? I can't log onto the internet without allowing it.

Reply: (edit)Why anti-virus companies can't agree on a naming standard, I don't know - Check out this link and look at the Recovery tab. http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/w32bagleq.html Also this site: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.beagle.r@mm.html Rule #1: Good Computers don't go down. Rule #2: There is no such thing as a good computer.

Reply: (edit)I am really worried. Someone said that just by using MSN Messenger they can find out your IP address and compare it with others on the same computer because I have one address for my friends and a fake one for talking to just anybody. Is this true. Please reply I am really scared. Laura

Reply: (edit)Laura- In fact, it could be true. If something happens, like your firewall detects a hacker intrusion, call your ISP and ask them to change the IP.
