yesterday afternoon i started reciving popups in the bottom right corner of my screen stating "windows has detected spyware". I noticed this as spyware itself immediately and have not been able to remove it. In the past 24 hours my computer has had the following symptoms -runs slower -constant popups from the bottom right corner that link me to spyware removal sites -i have encountered 3 Visual C++ errors stating Explorer.exe has had buffer overrun errors and needs to be shut down immediately -at one point my screen filled with japanese mabye korean characters and froze (this problem has not come back) -my documents is currently filling up with pos.tmp files Solutions i have tried -spybot -adaware -norton internet security 2007 -smitfraudfix (while in safe mode) -I just finished running vundofix and it found 10 problems and are currently being fixed What should I do next? IT BLOWED UP!

vundo cleared out 13 files (found 3 during startup) the antivirus popups are still showing up vundo did however find the file yayxwwv.dll and could not remove it. IT BLOWED UP!

I've seen vundo before but it's been a while, I think ComboFix will remove it if I recall: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showth... Just run it & follow the prompts, then reboot into safe mode & run it again.
