anytime i open any programs i get the error the application or DLL is not a valid windows image. now ive tryed running scans ect. but i get this same error trying to run a program. hijackthis works i cant use any windows functions like search or view help center. any help would be appreciated.

now im unable to view the web this is actually one of the only websites that works hopefully lucky for me. i was tempted to reformat but my disk does not work it keeps sayings errors. if a site will work, active x wont work to allow me to install anything :(
on a plus note i do have hijackthis and SmitFraud on my computer.

sorry cant view that. it shows me a blank page when i try to load it.i still see the google thing and what was typed in search but it shows nothing else even when i hit search it says its done at the bottom also. nothing is working right anymore. my zonealarm when i pull it up shows it being blank.

Have you tried booting to Safe Mode or running System Restore?

my computer wont let me access system restore. havnt tryed safe mode.
Edit* started in safe mode still same problem ran spybot S&D and avast and reported no problems :( but there are obvious problems heres the error i get along with basicly any thing i try to run this is trying to access system restore

does your browser work if you use safe mode with networking? If you need some more good free cleaners you can find them listed on one page in the red link.

i was going threw some stuff looking for files added at the time of the problems and found a windows log that states the exact time i was having troubles it reads the following. hopefully this helps. this is just a segment.
