Many thanks to Yousaf M Shaikh!

Your suggestion worked wonderfully - I do have one prob, after this silly AZESearch installed on my system, my outlook failed to send messages.

An outlook message pops-up saying "An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'hi', Account: 'pop3.telkomsa.net', Server: 'smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Error: 550 Potential Virus infection', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69

What can this be? I ran Ad-aware, Spybot and Microsoft beta1, but still it's out of order. I do however receive mail.

Any further suggestions?

Sometimes virus checker settings can screw up email.
Try briefly shutting down AV to see if that makes any difference. You might have to untick the entries in msconfig to ensure the AV does not come on during boot.
