My internet security (The Shield) ran out last week so i uninstalled it and thought i'd try out the free ones. I installed many of these and settled with zonealarm, avg/ avg anti-spyware, superanti-spyware, and ccleaner. I ran the scans and found a virus called Smitfraud and deleted it but not it seems to be there everytime i run the scan. I then got annoyed and bought Kapersky 7.0 full package and removed zonealarm, and avg. Now i'm having worse problems... a process called AVP which is part of kapersky or has named itself that is taking up all my CPU usage (like 98%) almost constantly.

I read someone elses post about something similar and have taken the steps that were advised to him but the correspondence stopped before the end.
